Literature Text

Ashes fall from the stem
of the cigarette
like teardrops against the wind
and I am a schoolgirl again in
a multifaceted plaid dress
tried by society and all its social
norms as if I were a witch
still smoldering on a stake of
existence.
My coffin is a hollow vessel
for some died energy,
my grave a long shadow,
but my feet are the softness
of infant skin
Entering a New World.
This is something more recent that I have written. Comments are very welcome! Smiles! :) (Smile)
